Question of the day.
Just a quick doodle of what I feel about The Hunger Games’ casting.
Seriously, I just read the book. Nothing like I imagined.
Went out shopping yesterday, and I bought some stuff. :D I was supposed to post this yesterday, too, but Tumblr was being stubborn and didn’t want to load.
So, someone messaged me concerning my most recent post, and suggested I read The Mortal Instruments, since I haven’t read it yet. I told her I was planning to, but I was torn between that or The Hunger Games (‘cause the money I saved was running low, so I had to choose one). I told her I decided to buy the first installment of The Mortal Instruments, The City of Bones, (since I’m a sucker for romance novels), but when I got to the bookstore, I couldn’t find a copy of it, so I had to resort to The Hunger Games. It was supposed to be on my semestral break reading list, but meh. I’m an impulsive buyer when it comes to books. Anyway, this is the first book set I ever bought, and it cost me Php 995. I’m reading it as soon as I finish The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan (which will probably be tonight).
I also bought two world maps (one, the normal map, and the other, the outlined one), and a correction pen. School stuff. Excited much?
I bought Candy Magazine’s school planner for 2011-2012. I also bought their last school diary, and I only got to update it until August. Yeah, I know, I could never complete one of those, but it won’t hurt trying, right? So, the planner included a free pen, which is so cool because of the unusual way to let the pen tip out.
And lastly, I bought a new sketch pad (even if I have bajillions more!) because I had one of those before, it’s the best sketch pad I’ve ever seen (I also have it in 9”x12” and 12”x18”) and and my brother ruined the last one.
So, more sketch pads, more artworks to come! :)
I’ve seen this quotation in Goodreads from the book, City of Bones, by Cassandra Clare. I’ve never read the book yet, though. The quote really tugged at my heartstrings, so I decided to make a drawing for it. :) BTW, the uniform they’re wearing is from my alma mater. Colegio San Agustin - Biñan, FTW! :D Sorry for the crappy handwriting. D:
Look at the new watermark! :D
I lost my replacement nibs. - , -‘
It’s a Wacom Bamboo Pen Tablet (CTL-460), btw…
