First week of school was awesome~!!

Wheeeee~!! So, first day, Tuesday, I was included in a regular and randomly chosen section, Bl. Clement of Osimo. I was at school early, therefore I got reacquainted with my friends and classmates from last school year (of course, most of them are in one section, so I only visited one classroom, that is of the star section). I was with them for a few minutes, then went back to my classroom, at another hall, before the school bell would ring. It was quiet in there, most people didn’t know each other (but I bet it’d be really noisy, too, a few weeks from now). So, our adviser went in, had the opening prayer, and did some typical first-day-of-school-stuff. We met all our subject teachers, copied the list of requirements, course outlines, and grading systems, then had subject orientations. I volunteered to photocopy a course outline for one subject, and then to be a line formation monitor. It was easier to recite. It’s not as embarrassing as reciting in front of the top students, like last year. The day ended, we had five assignments. Can you believe that? Five assignments on the first day? Sheesh.

I went home, did the assignments, wrapped some notebooks because some are color-coded, and had a little chat with my friends online. They told me that the star section could have some students added there, and they said I still have the chance to be with them, if ever I was wishing to get back to the star section. I didn’t get my hopes up, I may somehow be disappointed eventually. I went to sleep, contented with my first day of sophomore year.

Wednesday. The most awesome thing happened. I went to school running late. I arrived at my classroom exactly as the bell rang. The class adviser came in, then asked me to go to the high school academic coordinator’s office. I was puzzled. Why? Have I done something wrong yesterday? *nervously shaking* I got the hall pass then went to Ms. Barabicho’s office. I saw my classmate last year come out from the office. He was excluded from the star section, too. So then, I asked him, “Anong sinabi sa ‘yo? Balik star section ka na ba?” (“What did she tell you? Are you returning to the star section?”). Then he replied, “Oo, bakit? Pinatawag ka rin?” (“Yes, why? Have you been called, too?”).

I suddenly got excited. So there, The academic coordinator told me I was being transferred back to the star section. She told me to get my things, go to their classroom, and give the little orange slip addressed to the adviser. She congratulated me, then I was gone. (I did a happy little dance on my mind, haha.) I said goodbye to my old section :( then walked to Bl. Maria Teresa of Fasce. They saw me pass by their window, before I entered the back door. As I was passing by, I heard them scream and cheer. Wheeee~!! LOL. So then I sat down, and spent my second day of sophomore year, and my first day with Bl. Maria Teresa of Fasce.

The following days were fun. We had lessons and stuff, then some other typical school stuff. We’ll be having a presentation in front of the whole school this coming Wednesday. It was just announced yesterday, and we have insufficient time to prepare. I hope we make it~!! Wish us luck~!!

Thank you, God, for giving me this opportunity to spend another year with my friends. I hope I do good this year. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to study in an awesome school, when a lot of children my age, or even younger, couldn’t. Thank you for everything else, I do hope I could make the most of them.

Sorry for this really long entry, I’ll try to post another artwork soon.
